The master's programme is centred on economics and international law, and therefore requires a solid grounding and fluency in both disciplines. It is aimed primarily at graduates in Economics, Law and International Relations.

Proficiency in Spanish is a requirement for admission; a minimum level of B2 in Spanish is compulsory.

The pre-registration process is carried out through the Andalusian Single District system.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

• Academic Transcript
• Additional Merits
• Certificate of Spanish Language Proficiency at B2 level or above (for international students who are not native Spanish speakers)*

* Valid Spanish language certificates: (i) the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) and (ii) the SIELE (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española), both issued by the Instituto Cervantes. The certificate must include a verification code enabling confirmation of its validity. These certifications are also recognised by the University of Málaga for the relevant purposes, in accordance with UMA regulations on "Accreditation of Foreign Language Proficiency: Accepted Documents and Exemptions" (see the Additional Information section: Accreditation of Spanish Language Proficiency). 1. Certificate of Spanish Language Proficiency at B2 level or above
2. Academic background
   1. High relevance (1): related to Economics, Law or International Relations
   2. Medium relevance (0.5 points): related to Business and Economics Sciences
   3. Low relevance (0.1 points): related to Social Sciences
   4. No relevance (0 points): other degrees
3. Additional Merits
   1. High relevance (1 point): related to Economics, Public International Law or International Relation
   2. Medium relevance (0.5 points): related to Business and Economics Sciences or other branches of Law
   3. Low relevance (0.1 points): related to the Social Sciences
   4. No relevance (0 points): other merits

Enrolment may be completed in person at the Registry of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Málaga, or online via the UMA self-enrolment portal..

The approximate total tuition fee is €889.50 / $1,037.20 USD (Exchange rate: 30/05/2026).

The Junta de Andalucía will apply additional fee reductions for modules passed at first attempt during the two most recent academic years studied in Andalusia.
